Star Club Accreditation Our committee is busy working on meeting all of the standards presented by the Office of Sport and Recreation's Star Club Program. This includes issues such as risk management, club planning, volunteers and the development of a range of other club policies. We also support the opportunities 'Play by the Rules' presents in guiding our club to maintain a safe, fair and inclusive atmosphere.

Multi - Class SwimmingMulti Class (MC) swimming is a form of competition designed specifically for swimmers with disabilities. MC events are normal
swimming events with some minor modifications to the rules and regulations. MC competition is offered at all levels right up to Australian Championships. The West Coast Swimming Club is actively seeking more multiclass athletes who would like to improve their health and fitness through swimming. Each year Swimming Australia rates a clubs perfomance on disability inclusion - this year we have been awarded a two star, 'Thinking About Inclusion' standard. We currently have MC swimmers who compete at State and National events. |
Thankyou to our SponsorsThe West Coast Swimming Club would like to extend their sincere thanks to the sponsors listed above for their ongoing support of our swimmers. Sponsors have made generous contributions towards our uniforms, starting blocks, club trophies, website hosting, swimmer of the month awards, discounted pool space and many other club endevours. Without their support we would not be able to offer the depth of opportunities which are available to children on the Eyre Peninsula who have a passion for improving their swimming.
